How do electronic and Internet marketing support the IMC objectives Electronic and Internet marketing support the IMC objectives by helping to spread the company’s  message through a far reaching medium.  Ogden and Ogden (2014) suggested, “Marketers are  continually looking toward future trends and at current systems that deliver the best productivity and  sales” (section 9.1).  This is simply another tactic exploited by marketers to reach their target audience.   Furthermore, Ogden and Ogden stated, “Electronic marketing allows the IMC planner to build  relationships with current and potential customers, listen to the market, promote content, services, and  brands, influence buyers, and reach beyond the customer to the customers' customers or their networks”  (section 9.3).  These concepts are all important IMC objectives.
