Unformatted text preview: J our 2 — Safety Net Tutoring Contract [Prof Sunny’s copy] I, have asked to participate in the tutoring contract for Prof. Sunny’s Jour 2 class. The benefit to me is that if I meet the minimum number of tutoring sessions then Prof. Sunny will raise my grade one whole letter. Example: If my work in class earns me a "C” then my grade will be raised to a ”B". El I understand that i am required to attend a minimum of seven 50—minute sessions with a tutor working only on material for Jour 2. If I do not complete the 350 minutes required! understand that my grade will not be raised above what my work actually earned. No partial raise in my grade will occur under any circumstances if I attend less than the minimum number of sessions required in this contract. El I understand that I can work as long as the Writing/Reading labs allows, however no more than 50 minutes per day will ”count” toward fulfilling this contract. El I understand that during this time my tutor will evaluate and make suggestions to completed work forlourZ that! bring to the lab. I will not earn time for draft writing or using the lab as a study hall. I understand that if I earn a grade of “D” or ”F" in Jour 2 then this contract is null and void. Cl I understand it is my responsibility to provide a completed log of my tutoring sessions to Prof. Sunny. This log is available from Prof. Sunny and is the only form that will be accepted as fulfilling this contract. El I understand it is my responsibility to turn in the completed log to Prof. Sunny no later than the date shown on the class schedule, based on the Group #Ipresentation date I have chosen — NO EXCEPTIONS. As a current student on this bumpy collegiate pathway, I stumbled upon Course Hero, where I can find study resources for nearly all my courses, get online help from tutors 24/7, and even share my old projects, papers, and lecture notes with other students.

The ability to access any university’s resources through Course Hero proved invaluable in my case. I was behind on Tulane coursework and actually used UCLA’s materials to help me move forward and get everything together on time.
