David Smetana Donald Trump When the American population turns on the news each evening, and they sit back to catch up on the candidates running in the current election, their views are slightly distorted. Taking the lives, background, motives, viewpoints, and so much more information from each candidate, in such a short span of time, is nearly impossible. However, after research, that once distorted viewpoint, can become so much more clear. One serious candidate in today’s presidential race is that of Donald Trump. Trump is a self-made billionaire entrepreneur, who has established his net worth through savvy business ventures, and smart investing. Aside from his impressive financial background, Trump’s incredible leadership skills can be seen through running, and maintaining for many years his vast empire. Through his humble upbringing, persistent business ventures, and national image, the qualities of a truly great leader that make Donald Trump the terrific presidential candidate that we all see today; financially he is able to sustain himself through personal investments, fundraising, and other contributions; his vast empire, retained fortune, and personality, give him the potential qualities to become an influential leader; Donald, however, has good qualities, bad habits, and ugly characteristics that could make up his Presidency; through thorough analysis of behavior characteristics and summarizing his overall campaign chances, we can identify the type of leader that Donald Trump would make if given the opportunity to run this country. The potential leader of the United States of America is a privileged position, and it’s going to take a very influential, powerful, and inspirational man such as Trump to lead this great country through its next chapter. Over the course of the next year, as the population looks on, the candidates will set out to prove they are best set out to fulfill such a prestigious position; only time will tell, who can take home the prize.

Donald John Trump was born June 14 th , 1946 in Queens, New York. Donald was the fourth of five children, born to parents Frederick and Mary McLeod Trump. Growing up, Donald was an extremely energetic, and enthusiastic child. His father worked in real estate, developing and specializing in apartment buildings for the middle-class. When Donald reached the age of thirteen, his parents hoping to mentor their son in a positive manner, sent him to New York Military Academy, located in Cornell, New York. It was here, that the true brilliance of Donald was recognized. Athletically, Trump was extremely gifted, he excelled at nearly every sport he participated in. However, in the classroom, Donald, through his hard work ascended to the top of the class both as a class leader, and also intellectually. His parents gave praise to his assertion, persistence, and eagerness to learn. After successful completion of the academy in 1964, trump went on to Fordham University, where he would eventually transfer from after only two years.
