NUTR 1030- Personal Nutrition Student Name: Kelsey Jones THREE DAY FOOD INTAKE RECORD Assignment #2 (50 points) Purpose: To keep an accurate and complete food intake record of all foods and beverages you consume during a 72 hour period. You will gain knowledge and awareness of: 1.) your dietary patterns by recording the name and the time of each meal and snack consumed 2.) the nutritional quality of your diet by recording the types of foods and beverages you consume 3.) the total quantity of your diet by recording the portion sizes of each food and beverage 4.) the number of servings you consume each day from each food group by identifying and recording the food group to which each food and beverage you consume belongs Be honest! Only an accurate account of your diet will give you a true picture of your actual intake. Keeping an accurate and detailed record for this assignment is also important because you will use this record in assignment #4 to analyze the energy and nutrient composition of your diet using the SuperTracker website. Instructions: Keep a record of ALL foods and beverages you consume for 3 days (72 hours total). 1.) Choose three consecutive days including 2 weekdays and one weekend day. You may choose to record on a Thursday, Friday, and Saturday or a Sunday, Monday, and Tuesday 2.) Use a separate page (attached forms) for each day and record the day of the week and date on each page. Note needs to be completed in word – no hand written accepted. No screen shots accepted 3.) Record all foods and beverages consumed (one item per line). Be sure to include water and other fluids with details as listed below 4.)
