Professor and Classmates, After, watching the video’s of all of the famous ancient Roman structures, the one that I found most fascinating was The Bath Complexes. The Bath Complexes of Caracalla were very intriguing because their baths were enormous and elaborate. In my opinion, their baths resembled a luxurious spa type atmosphere. Also, considering they had food, beverages, and entertainment. If I lived in ancient times, I would consider “The Baths of Caracalla,” a day spa. The apodyterium had a cubicle to hold your belongings, and the hired help called a capsarius or slaves would watch your things while you bathed, exercised, or entertained yourself. If you had the money, you could bath next to the emperor. One thing that I thought was odd but for them was completely normal was the using the bathroom in public sitting right next to another person was very strange. In this day in time, most people do not even use their bathroom as the door
