Unformatted text preview: APA Citation Style _____———————————{' WHY YOU SHOULD CARE ABOUT WRITING CITATIONS CORRECT LY We talk a lot about citing your research sources in my Journalism 2 class because you are scholars, and because you want to: 0 Avoid plagiarism (this is unethical and can impact your future academic career) 0 Give credit where credit is due (you wouldn’t want anyone to take credit for your work, would you?) 0 Tell your readers where you found your research so they can read further, if they so desire Therefore, learning to cite your research correctly isn’tfor ME... it’sfor YOU! The ability to access any university’s resources through Course Hero proved invaluable in my case. I was behind on Tulane coursework and actually used UCLA’s materials to help me move forward and get everything together on time.
