So remember it!!

This also helps to explain why we bother with introducing the number in the frst place. It actually does make our lives easier UnFortunately, when we have other bases For our exponential Functions, things aren’t as easy (but they’re still not too bad) We still have to write the original exponential Function That is a hassle, which is why we preFer working with base

Now that we know the rule for diFerentiating exponentials, we must be able to use it with all the other rules we know The product rule: The quotient rule:

The chain rule: This is the trickiest one here, because it is not as instinctive about what counts as the “inside” part For the function the exponent counts as the inside part I know that it doesn’t look “inside” it looks “above” (or something), but you must remember this So using the chain rule

As a current student on this bumpy collegiate pathway, I stumbled upon Course Hero, where I can find study resources for nearly all my courses, get online help from tutors 24/7, and even share my old projects, papers, and lecture notes with other students.

The ability to access any university’s resources through Course Hero proved invaluable in my case. I was behind on Tulane coursework and actually used UCLA’s materials to help me move forward and get everything together on time.
