myself and others, it is a repulsive term that represents closed-mindedness. I believe racism comes from independent thinking and views and how this view from family, friends and society forms us each day with different cultural values, ethnic backgrounds, as well as the physical appearances. In my day to day activities, there are times whether at work or in the community, I have felt serious racism or gestures of racism against me, but none to which will alter my beliefs or love for people outside of my origin and color. Racism has been one of the most significant issues that people have been facing and fighting for, and is still occurring around us without even knowing.
