solutions to these issues. The rising population in nations such as the cities in the United States, China and the country of India are examples of the population growth pressures that are one of the major problems that many countries face in the world. As a result, overpopulation weakens the economy in many respects. The increasing pressure of population on natural resources will retard the economic progress and minimize the scope for social services in the form of education, wealth, and housing. Therefore, a planned growth of our economy needs some effective check on population. With increased industrialization and urbanization results in air pollution, noise pollution, and water pollution which is all detrimental to our environment. The population growth is determined mainly by birth rate, death rate, and migration patterns like immigration and emigration. Efforts are being made for improving the population and economic condition of people but it can bear no fruitful result if population is allowed to growl unchecked. Population in the developed countries like Europe and America is growing at rate of only 0.1% per year while in developing countries the growth rate is over 1.5% per year. If this is allowed to continue, environmental pollutions will begin to overwhelm and the introduction of harmful pollutants will enter into the environment. The increasing pressure result in a people at worlds end after the major types of environmental pollutions like air, water, noise, thermal, soil and light pollution have taken over.
