Wasson 1 Tanya Wasson Mrs. Scheil English 101 27 May 2016 Understanding Rhetoric Assignment Part 1: My name is Tanya Wasson. I will be an incoming senior at Kearney High School and my writing experience is limited to academic writing. This is the first college class I am taking at Central Community College. The distance learning class is a unique experience; I look forward to learning more to what your class has to offer, such as knowing how to use the moodle site. My writing process is brainstorming ideas of what I would like to write about, making an outline, and starting my rough draft. From there I would have a couple people such as friends and teachers revise my work. I would like to spice up my writing skills by writing in an effective manner in which my work flows better. Part 2: Rhetoric means using language to persuade someone and is a view that incorporates all ideas and beliefs. The purpose is to inform someone what you are trying to tell them. You can also do this by proposing and demanding.

As a current student on this bumpy collegiate pathway, I stumbled upon Course Hero, where I can find study resources for nearly all my courses, get online help from tutors 24/7, and even share my old projects, papers, and lecture notes with other students.

The ability to access any university’s resources through Course Hero proved invaluable in my case. I was behind on Tulane coursework and actually used UCLA’s materials to help me move forward and get everything together on time.
