The Value of Teams Growing up I have been part of teams that consisted of sports, work, class, and family. Being part of these teams I have been served different roles such as team captain, sales lead at work, and a member of a family. Throughout my life, I have had the privilege of learning from great leaders like my mother, coaches, and mentors. My mother basically lead the way by teaching me we all have differences and even though they may seem like negatives, they present an opportunity to learn from each other. My coaches have taught me the basic principles and how there is no I in team. And finally, my mentors showed me the importance of setting a common goal. As you can see they have all shown me the value of a team and throughout time I have learned the basics of forming a team, communicating with one and other, and working full time as a unit to achieve our goals. I always knew there was a base or formula for team development but I never put it together. Until Now, which I've learned that there are Five stages of team development and I will list those down below so we may learn together.

As a current student on this bumpy collegiate pathway, I stumbled upon Course Hero, where I can find study resources for nearly all my courses, get online help from tutors 24/7, and even share my old projects, papers, and lecture notes with other students.

The ability to access any university’s resources through Course Hero proved invaluable in my case. I was behind on Tulane coursework and actually used UCLA’s materials to help me move forward and get everything together on time.
