Introduction Disasters are unpredictable and they vary in type and magnitude. The best strategy is having some kind of disaster recovery plan instead of return to start point after the disaster has struck. For an organization, disaster is something which may interrupt all or part of its business operations, which may result in revenue loss. To minimize disaster loss, it is important to have a good Disaster Recovery plan for every operation of business. Every business disaster has one or more cause and effects. The cause may be natural or human or mechanical ranging from events such as hardware or software components to universally recognized events such as earthquakes, fire, and flood. Disaster may cause fatal damage to business or may interrupt entire business for days and months. Below figure shows the roles and relationship of the Disaster Recovery Team: DRP Steering Committee will execute all the authority and manage the Disaster Recovery Plan.

The ability to access any university’s resources through Course Hero proved invaluable in my case. I was behind on Tulane coursework and actually used UCLA’s materials to help me move forward and get everything together on time.
