Maria Williams Self-Assessment MKTG 430 In preparation for the first role play, I watched the role play videos on the JMU sales page that were sent from my Sales Leader. From the videos, I understood that I had to ask for permission to sit down, take notes, and layout an agenda on what would be covered in the meeting. I used the videos to better prepare myself on what to expect and how to transition between the different checkpoints. During my role play, I found it was very easy to carry a conversation with the buyer. I tried to incorporate many SPIN questions throughout, however, I found it was difficult to ask many that were not repetitive because the lady told me the entire situation on the first situation question. She also asked me if she needed to keep her receptionist which I thought to be rather strange. After consulting with my Sales Leader, she recommended that I ask questions regarding what her receptionist might do and give an answer based off her answers. I also forgot to hand my business card at the beginning of the meeting,
