Crowdsourcing is the process of getting work or funding usually online from a crowd of people. I chose the article Crime Solving by crowdsourcing: On Internet, thousands sift through photos, trying to identify bomb suspects by Martine Powers. This article was very interesting and shows how much rely on crowdsourcing. I also read over Crowd-Powered: Why Doritos Lets Fans Make Its’s Super Bowl Ads. I attempted to watch the videos related to the article put they were private. With the company Doritos they use crowdsourcing to make the super bowl ads. They state they want to make sure their consumers have the most creativity possible. The Doritos brand claims that its core mission is to challenge the status quo and hand the power over to its consumers. The company also believes this program is an opportunity to help promote creative individuals.” [Mar13]I feel as though this is a good way to keep the consumers involved and it is a positive experience for everyone.

As a current student on this bumpy collegiate pathway, I stumbled upon Course Hero, where I can find study resources for nearly all my courses, get online help from tutors 24/7, and even share my old projects, papers, and lecture notes with other students.

The ability to access any university’s resources through Course Hero proved invaluable in my case. I was behind on Tulane coursework and actually used UCLA’s materials to help me move forward and get everything together on time.
