Erika Bartolacci MKT 111B 1/16/17 Marketing Project –Part 1 Johnson and Johnson is a company that has been around since 1886 that was founded by three brothers who started the company with making band-aid kits. These kits where used in hospitals and sold in general stores. The company has grown quite a bit since then; Johnson and Johnson is now a national and international company that makes products for women and babies, to pharmaceutical sales and hospital supplies. Johnson and Johnson doesn’t really have a mission statement but they have a credo that they go by that when you are looking at or researching anything to do with their company they follow very close and take this credo very seriously and hold employees to this as well. Credo- Credo- “We believe our first responsibility is to the doctors, nurses, and patients, to the mothers and fathers and all the others who use our products and services. In meeting their needs everything we do must be high quality. We must constantly strive to reduce our costs in order to maintain reasonable prices. Customers’ orders must be serviced promptly and accurately.
