Baileigh Whipple History 105, 19 Issue Paper #2 02-19-17 [4 pages, double space, not including bib] Since the beginning of the human species we have moved from one place to another. This is known as migration, and a Newspaper article from Bangkok, Thailand talks about recent developments in policies that effect people whom migrate from one place to another whether for work or for a better life [1]. In this article, it mentions that large groups such as the “ People's Global Action on Migration (PGA)” got together in Dhaka, Bangladesh and discussed how immigrants should be treated and the actions that countries and social groups, like the PGA, should take to insure that people had the ability to safely and easily migrate between countries and that they would be treated fairly when it comes to work [1]. Globalization has led to the increase in both the number of immigrants to countries but also the range of places and cultures people are coming from.

As a current student on this bumpy collegiate pathway, I stumbled upon Course Hero, where I can find study resources for nearly all my courses, get online help from tutors 24/7, and even share my old projects, papers, and lecture notes with other students.

The ability to access any university’s resources through Course Hero proved invaluable in my case. I was behind on Tulane coursework and actually used UCLA’s materials to help me move forward and get everything together on time.
