Tom Hanks plays Robert Langdon, a historian focused on the meaning of symbols throughout history in The Da Vinci Code. After an unusual murder at a Museum called The Louvre, Langdon is brought to the crime scene by Captain Bezu Fache from the French version of the FBI played by Jene Reno. Captain Fache is convinced that Langdon is the murderer because he has been informed by his Bishop and plans to build a case against him. Coming to his aid, Sophie Neveu played by Audrey Tautou helps Langdon escape the Museum. Together, he and Sophie investigate her grandfather’s murder and discover that they are on a quest to discover the Holy Grail. A secret society known as the Priory of Sion has kept secret the whereabouts of the Holy Grail but researcher Sir Leigh Teabing played by Ian Mckellen is a member of Opus Dei, a secret Vatican organization aimed at exposing the Priory’s treasure. Teabing nearly succeeds in his attempts to discover and expose the Holy Grail, the sarcophagus of Mary Magdalene and the bloodline of Jesus, until he is arrested by Captain Fache.

The ability to access any university’s resources through Course Hero proved invaluable in my case. I was behind on Tulane coursework and actually used UCLA’s materials to help me move forward and get everything together on time.
