Cindy Umana Professor Fontana TECA 1311 P1 Education has changed so much from the time that I was in primary school, to now. We are no longer living in days where reading, writing and arithmetic are solely the important things to teach. I believe that the purposes of education are to teach with love and not just for the student, but also for the profession. Educate without fear of the unexpected. Instill a sense of rightness, values and respect in the future of the young minds. Create a safe place for them. My 4 th grade teacher, Mrs. Joines, I’ll never forget her. She taught with so much positive energy. The ambience in that classroom was felt the moment you stood in line waiting to greet her in the mornings. During guided reading, her small groups were a joy to go to. She made me want to learn. Because of her, I felt the want and need to pick up a book. Her condition and ways of teaching were one of the best ones I received in my elementary school life. That’s the environment kids should receive. Especially, if your students do not have a safe or positive place

As a current student on this bumpy collegiate pathway, I stumbled upon Course Hero, where I can find study resources for nearly all my courses, get online help from tutors 24/7, and even share my old projects, papers, and lecture notes with other students.

The ability to access any university’s resources through Course Hero proved invaluable in my case. I was behind on Tulane coursework and actually used UCLA’s materials to help me move forward and get everything together on time.
