Hostetter Ensley Hostetter Professor Ruppel Psych 101 6 December 2016 Undercurrents Martha Manning is a female who is thirty-seven turning thirty-eight years old. She is married to her husband Brian Manning and has a daughter Keara Manning. She is a Therapist, and her social standing is middle class. She has a big family, and her sister is also in and out of rehab. Martha enjoys being a psychologist and loves helping people. For Martha Manning, the first signs of her depression started when she was thirty-seven and she no longer had the motivation to get out of bed. She found herself tired all the time, and wanting to give up on life. The progression of the symptoms began with the loss of interest in hobbies or activities she used to love. She could not sleep anymore, if lucky, maybe she would sleep two to five hours a night. She suffered from insomnia. Martha no longer had an appetite and lost a lot of weight. At parties, she found herself in a corner trying to seem busy so no one would approach her and talk to her.

The ability to access any university’s resources through Course Hero proved invaluable in my case. I was behind on Tulane coursework and actually used UCLA’s materials to help me move forward and get everything together on time.
