1. Looks can be deceiving. People are snakes and legitimately good hearted people are hard to find. There’s evil people and they can be led back to faith but it’s very difficult. 2. Journey-from being a snake to a good person. The Tower- the tower of babel. Red Sammy- society and its influence in the world. Plantation- the garden of Eden. Grandmother at the end- . Eve when she leaves Eden. When the grandmother touches the Misfit- when Eve eats the apple. The Misfit=rejection of God (snake in the garden). They represents Biblical interpretations. They help the story transcend regular meaning by focusing on a more religious aspect of life. 3. When the man pulls them into the forest, the focus is shift and it represents desolation/isolation and their unavoidable, incoming death. 4. The violence is implemented by The misfit pulling them off the focus setting and into the distance where the forest is. By doing this he is showing how he is taking them to their death.

The ability to access any university’s resources through Course Hero proved invaluable in my case. I was behind on Tulane coursework and actually used UCLA’s materials to help me move forward and get everything together on time.
