Hayes is whether the courts have the power to decide if Edith Melissa Maria Hayes should be sterilization or not. Issue 2 The next issue is does sterilization interfere with the rights of privacy of Edith Melissa Maria Hayes. Issue 3 How the wishes and the obligations of the parents should be considered with in the decision of Edith being sterilized. Issue 4 If Edith Melissa Maria Hayes were to be sterilized would that touch upon her right to the fundamental right to procreate. Rule(s): Rule as to Issue 1: The court must have jurisdiction to have the right to decide if Edith Melissa Maria Hayes should be sterilized or not.
