On Thanksgiving vacation, the kindergarten class of my old elementary school was performing a play. The preformed it in the high school auditorium, which is a pretty big place for just a few kindergartners. They only preformed on one night and that was Wednesday, the 23 rd at 7:00 pm. They named the play, ‘The Sunflower’s Carnival of Animals.’ The main unifying theme of the play was to show what animals do to stay alive or to adapt. They showed this by dressing up as different animals and showing examples of things that help that animal in the wild. The dominant tone of the play is comic. It was far from a serious play, almost all kindergarten plays are just for fun. I believe that all of the elements of the play were compatible and coordinated. They all followed one specific theme and that was what animals do to survive in the wild. The play was very well thought up, in my opinion. I believe that all of the roles were appropriately cast. All the actors in the play were female, so they couldn’t cast different genders for more masculine parts of the play, which would have made the play seem a little more planned. I think all of the parts of the play were distributed
