Personal Assessment ofStrengthsManagement Concepts - Pamela S. Self, PH.D.April 22, 2017For this assignment, we were required to take the “Strengths Finder 2.0” assessment to learn more about our strengths and how they relate to the business management world. I have
taken similar personality assessments in the past and I assumed this one would be very similar. However, I was surprised to see my results. They made complete sense and I was not expecting the assessment to gather so much information about my personality traits from the questionnaire.I was also pleased I could have the opportunity to read more about each trait and the ability to relate to my own life and see how accurate the assessment truly was. “My Top 5” results were asfollows:1.Restorative2.Ideation3.Developer4.Relator5.ResponsibilityAfter reading more about each trait, and applying them to my management style, I began to see that there were areas I was stronger in than others. I also began to see that some of my strengths complimented one another, while others could interfere. My first strength, restorative, is very much me. I absolutely love to fix things. I get satisfaction out of understanding how things work and coming up with ways to make it better. While serving in the Air Force, I was tasked with running my own program.
