My’Lani I groaned while waking up to my alarm going off on my phone, BEEP! BEEP! BEEP! When I picked it up to look at It, my screen said 6:30 a.m. I sighed because I knew I had to be to class at 8. My sister Aneesa told me not to choose early classes because I would not get up for it but, I did not listen and boy do I regret it. I lifted myself out of bed and grabbed my robe and plastic shower caddy and walked to bathroom stalls. Because I am a freshmen here at Dillon State University, an HBCU in Atlanta, GA, I have to live in the freshmen dorm called Wendell Hall and unfortunately we have to share the bathroom with all of the freshmen women on the second floor. That definitely makes me miss home even more because I had my own bedroom and bathroom but, I wanted to attend an HBCU. While walking towards the bathroom stalls, I ran into my roommate Cassie. She was really nice but deep down I knew she was hoe. We been here for two months and she was already known for loving the crew which were the football players. Cassie was not a bad looking girl though, she was about a buck twenty, but she had a big booty to make up for it, she was light skin with natural curly hair and had gray eyes that all the guys loved. When I first met her, we became the best of friends instantly, she had that outgoing personality and I didn’t. I was more quiet and never talked to anyone unless they talked to me. That came from being picked on in school for being too skinny and wearing braces with big glasses. But, I eventually got over that because my senior year I ended up gaining a little weight but, in all the right places. I did not have my braces anymore and my mom finally allowed me to wear contacts. So of course everyone wanted a piece of My’Lani but, none of them got it because as of today I am still a virgin! Some people find that so hard to believe, even Cassie but I do not care because it is true. “Hey roomie!” wrapping the towel around her, she walked towards me and smiled. “Good morning Cass! Are you just now getting in?” I smirked because I already knew the answer but, I wanted to see what she was going to say.

She brushed her hand through her curly hair and smiled “yes I did actually, I was up studying with Mykell, he was tutoring me in math.” “Oh okay well I hope the studying pays off for our exam on Friday.” I laughed and went inside the bathroom stall. “oh it will trust me!” she yelled. I rolled my eyes and laughed because I knew that the last thing her and Mykell were doing was learning math. When I walked into the stall, I closed the curtain and slipped my robe off. Mind you these stalls are not the best looking thing, they have been worn out because of the use throughout the years. Wendell Hall has been around for 25 years and the school claims that they are too broke to remodel and it represents Jamal Wendell, I am not really sure about the history with him but, hell once again I am here to learn. After I finished washing off, I put my robe back on and went to the sink to brush my teeth

The ability to access any university’s resources through Course Hero proved invaluable in my case. I was behind on Tulane coursework and actually used UCLA’s materials to help me move forward and get everything together on time.
