Homework Week 4B “Time Out: Your Assumptions about People” on page 341 My Score came out that I am a Theory Y type of person. The definition of a Theory Y manager is: that the management style is participative: Management involves employees in decision making, but retains power to implement decisions.[The] A Theory Y Manager assumes that employees are self-motivated and creative, and enjoy working with greater responsibility. We believe to let the employees take responsibility and to be motivated on their own to fulfill the goals they are given. Employees look for and accept responsibility and do not need constant direction and motivation. They consider work as an important part of life and solve work problems quickly and easily.
