Experiment 8 Projectile Motion The purpose of this experiment is to determine the landing point of a ball when it is rolled off of the table via a ramp. To complete this lab, my lab partners and I will need to set up two Motion or Photogate detectors (as depicted in Figure 1), and a ball will be rolled from the same point each time and caught in the hands of a lab member. Using the conjoined information detected by the Photogates, my lab partners and I will estimate an experimental value for where we predict our ball will fall (in relation to where the table ends).
