Introduction to Cognitive Psychology, PSY 305 Dr. Reeves I. On-line ZAP Experiments : PLEASE FOLLOW DIRECTIONS EXACTLY. The record-keeping for 100 students x 12-14 ZAPs is overwhelming, & students will be only given credit under the following conditions: a. Obtain a Username and Password either by purchasing the Media Edition of the Reisberg Cognition textbook OR buying the ZAPs separately (from www.wwnorton.com). b. Students must complete 4 ZAPs experiments from each of the 3 topical sections (Memory, Lower Cognitive Processes; Higher Cognitive Processes). Each experiment is worth 3 points (total 36 points). An additional 2 experiments may be completed in any section/s for extra credit if they are completed by the due date for that experiment (up to 6 points; total 42 possible ZAPs points). c. Log into http://www.wwnorton.com/zaps/ to begin using the ZAPs. Be sure to enter both the class code: MQ2MHQ5M, and your name as follows: LAST NAME in all capitals, First Name, such as SMITH, Jane . Failure to do either of these will mean that you will not get credit for the ZAPs you do. d.
