BUSINESS PLAN BTMU 4043 SEMESTER 1 SESI 2016/2017 1.0 LEARNING OUTCOMES Upon completion of this subject, student should be able to: LO1 Identify business ideas and opportunities for successful new venture creation. LO2 Demonstrate critical and creative thinking in formulating and justifying appropriate business strategies, recommendations, and/or solutions. LO3 Create a business plan for a business venture or construct a business plan for a social entrepreneurial organization. 2.0 SYNOPSIS This subject discusses business idea generation and various aspects of realising the ideas into real business. It also discusses successful critical factors such as market knowledge, a good management team, managing resources, the location and infrastructure to elevate performance. Students will be taught the necessary skills and knowledge in preparing an effective business plan to potential investors.
