The Internet domain name financia.com is owned by Fanancia, Inc. Dotster, Inc., which is incorporated in Washington, is a registrar of Internet domain names. It operates the website http://www.dotster.com where individuals and companies, who lack an Internet server to which a domain name can be given, to “park” their domain names on Dotster’s “Futurehome” page. In February 2002, Marshall Parsons registered the domain name “efinancia.com” using Dotster’s website, and parked the domain name under the Futurehome page, using the address http://www.efinancia.com . George DeCarlo and Steven Vincent activated Parson’s site on behalf of Dotster. A day later, the site http://www.afternic.com , which auctions off domain names for sale, offered the domain name efinancia.com for sale. Bird filed suit in
