WEEK 2 RESOLVING ETHICAL BUSINESS CHALLENGES 1 Week 2 Resolving Ethical Business Challenges Wanda Black Everest University Online June 3, 2017
WEEK 2 RESOLVING ETHICAL BUSINESS CHALLENGES 2 1. Describe the stakeholders involved in this ethical dilemma? What stake do they have in this situation? The stakeholders that are involved in this ethical dilemma are primary and secondary stakeholders. The primary stakeholders in this case are the University, the students as well as Ahmed and Bill, faculty and their IP addresses, and copyright laws of the government. The secondary stakeholders are the music industry who Bill is stealing music from and the mass media of the library’s system where he gets material from and sells it. The “stake” that all of these stakeholders have in this situation is an interest in the University in different ways in which their information and privacy is being hacked by Bill for his own personal profit, which is illegal.
