AGNATHA Spineless fish…not fish 3 classes of fishes : 1. Agnatha – jawless fishes. No scales or jaw. Live as parasites. Example: lamprey, hagfish 2. Chondrichthyes – cartilaginous fishes. Have a skeleton made of cartilage. Example: sharks, rays, and skates 3. Osteoichthyes – bony fish. Have a skeleton made of mostly calcified bone. Example: perch, tuna.
