Part 2 -- Years Later Etta Johnston stalked her prey. She'd had an investigator on him for months now, and she knew he would be at this party. She weaved through the crowd, looking for him. Her progress was impeded by those in awe of the famous model in their midst. There was no resemblance to the girl she'd once been. Her name, looks and personality had been changed. Her personality was transformed that night; she was no longer sweet, caring, kind, friendly... and her sense of humor seemed to have vanished like a ninja in the night. Her name had been easiest. When she was finally released from the mental hospital, pounds lighter, she insisted on going to live with her aunt in another state. She informed her aunt, who was much younger, more cool and more caring than her own parents, that she was no longer Georgie or even Georgetta. She would only answer to Etta. And when she turned 18, she had her last name legally changed to Johnston. She didn't want anyone to connect the fat girl who loved a boy named Greg to the person she wished to be. Her looks were a much more gradual change. The weight loss revealed kicking curves and insanely high cheekbones. Her aunt got her contacts, which meant her deep blue eyes were now noticeable. Her aunt also taught her how to take better care of herself and got her braces. Lastly, Etta got a better hair cut. Her remaining years of high school was vastly different from the earlier ones. Many people wanted to be her friend, and all of the boys wanted more than that. But her heart was hard, and she remained aloof. In induction into modeling came her 18th year, when an agent saw her in a line at the movies. He made her famous, eventually became her lover, and through him... she learned many things, things valuable to her future plans. She paused to smile, though it was perhaps more the look of an animal about to devour another creature. Her hands smoothed the silk of her vibrant purple dress over her full hips before checking the neatness of her honey blonde hair. She was certain he wouldn't at all recognize her. After she flirted with him, she was sure he would ask her out. Who would pass up the chance to go out with a model? Etta bared her teeth and resumed stalking her prey. Greg was never the same after that night. He hated Julie and he hated himself, forever divested of that simplistic hope for 'happily ever after." It took some time, but he eventually reconciled his actions with his self-image ... exonerating himself by blaming the Jack Daniels and Julie. After all, if she had acted like his date, then ... His remaining year in high school was uneventful. He dated, but rarely more than twice with the same girl. Greg had gotten the reputation of being a womanizing prick, interested in only having sex ... his way. That night, when he raped and humiliated Georgie after his own embarrassment at the hands of Julie, had warped him. He lost all respect for the fairer sex ...

The ability to access any university’s resources through Course Hero proved invaluable in my case. I was behind on Tulane coursework and actually used UCLA’s materials to help me move forward and get everything together on time.
