Classroom and Communication Management PlanClassroom and Communication Management PlanWhen I hear of someone being disciplined by their parents, I always think they getting aspanking.Later, I soon learned that when you discipline someone you help to guide them in theright direction, you steer them from the wrong they’ve done or doing in their life. When Ibecome a teacher and in order for my classroom management plan to be real it needs to bealigned with my beliefs and values.I believe that a classroom management plan should aid inbuilding a community of learners. Also, I feel that the students should be taught self-disciplineso that they can use the skills they learn in the classroom outside of school as well.As teachersor future teachers, I believe it is our responsibility to help our students become good citizens inaddition to teaching them the academic areas.Classroom ArrangementThe classroom environment is very important. The size of the classroom and interiorareas, the colors of the walls, the type of furniture and flooring, the amount of light, and the roomarrangement all influence how students learn.Thoughtful arrangement of the indoor and outdoorenvironments will support your learning goals for students. This tool provides an opportunity forexperimentation with the layout of your classroom without any heavy lifting.I will have mystudent’s desk facing the white board, I will have my desk to the left of them, my computer areawill be to the right of them, and my fun area will be to the back of them.I would also have myhard back books and workbooks stacked neatly on the shelves by the computer area. The trashcan and pencil sharpener will be by the door.
