Konica Devasser Week 3 Assignment MGMT340 Week 3 Reflective Essay People may be wondering what is a data flow diagram and how does play a role in the business world. Well, a data flow diagram (DFD) illustrates how data is processed by a system in terms of inputs and outputs. Its main focus is on the flow of information, where the data comes from, and where it goes and how it gets stored. [Dat] In a data flow diagram, there are different levels. They are as follows: Context Diagram DFD Layers DFD Levels In the context diagram, it is considered to be the top level on the DFD. It contains one process node. In the DFD layers, it can be made in several nested layers. In the DFD levels, they show the main processes within the system itself. Each of the processes that are created can be broken down into further processes until you are capable of reaching to the pseudo code. There are DFD symbols that are provided. A data flow is depicted as an arrow. The arrow is labeled with a meaningful name for the data in motion. The symbol for a process is
