Professor Yorgos KouritasMusic Appreciation May 21th, 2017Saddleback Symphony OrchestraOn saturday, May 13th, I went to the Mckinney theatre to watch the concert which was conducted by our professor Yorgos Kouritas. I was really excited because it was my first time to attend the classical music concert. The entire of main stage was filled with the instrument and performers. The atmosphere was calm and silence. I think the melody is repeated because the first and last parts sound alike tome. As the mood of the song changed, I realized that the performers' playing and expression also changed with the music. After the intermission, the concert had restarted with the song, Symphony no.9 by Franz Schubert. This song was really fast and active. The movement of performers was very busy and exciting. There were many reversals such as a strong melody after a slow and quiet melody. The tempo was going up and down, and the melody was sometimes smooth and sometimes mighty. The
