2 Assessment the Components of E-Health Delivery Systems Administrative Application: The setting I chose for administrative application would be both an inpatient and an outpatient setting. The setting chosen is the administration of chemotherapy which is administered to the patient in an outpatient or inpatient setting. The administration portion of chemotherapy is to comply with the standards of administering the chemotherapy to the patient in a secure environment. This is to make sure that errors are limited or ceased and quality care is provided to the patients. Some specifics that can be addressed are practice policies, inner quality appraisal, and outside quality monitoring. Database architecture/design for administrative application The components for administrative application that are in a hospital setting would be a laboratory, radiology, electronic messaging, tele-consults, telepathology, and tele-dermatology. The clinical decision support is known for their decline in errors in an EMR as well as their concern for computerized supplier order entry to be able to submit a patient test or prescription from any electronic device and conveys this to the recipient center or pharmacy. This would lessen the medication errors as well as can being able to read reports after the patient has had the test performed, and lesson the errors with transcription of tests being ordered.
