Zach Davenport Mr. Arrend COMM111 3-30-15 Amber related this topic to the audience by saying that she decided to be a part of her sorority when most of us decided to join things on campus. She also said she was here to clear our misconceptions about fraternities and sororities that we might be carrying with us. The speed of the speech was organized well for the most part. I didn’t see an overarching organization but rather a point was presented and then explained. Transitions were decent; the speech was easy to follow for the most part. The main points were supported well by facts found, but not much by personal stories. The best examples of this were when she was talking about how fraternity/sorority houses provided snacks and things that you could eat instead of using the meal plan that students are required to have. She also gave examples of who was involved in Greek life, but just gave generic stereotypes.

As a current student on this bumpy collegiate pathway, I stumbled upon Course Hero, where I can find study resources for nearly all my courses, get online help from tutors 24/7, and even share my old projects, papers, and lecture notes with other students.

The ability to access any university’s resources through Course Hero proved invaluable in my case. I was behind on Tulane coursework and actually used UCLA’s materials to help me move forward and get everything together on time.
