The second is forensic medicine. Forensic medicine is also known as “legal medicine or medical jurisprudence” (W. 40). Forensic medicine delves into the details of trauma and disease, as well as what causes them and what consequences they provide.Sub-branches of the two could be toxicology, which is the study of poisons and their properties.
