Temple 2006 7 Temple 2006 8 ALIENS ALTERED OUR GENES 1,000 YEARS AGO! All our modern advances are due to their genetic tinkering! By VINCENZO SARDI LYONS, France -- Scientists conducting a widespread study of human DNA around the world have reached an astonishing conclusion about our genetic structure. Someone or something inserted a "packet" of genes into our species 1,000 years ago! And incredibly, the chief researcher believes that "someone" wasa race of benevolent space aliens who visited our planet around the year 1000 A.D., and decided our species needed a boost up the evolutionary ladder . "They came and met man mired in the Dark Ages -- no significant inventions had been made since the fall of the Roman Empire," says Dr. Jean Sedeaux of the Human Genetics Research Foundation. "Whatever they did altered not only our genes, but the course of human civilization. Every advance from the printing press to modern day computers can be attributed to the genetic tinkering of those outsiders." Dr. Sedeaux's team stumbled onto the clue that led them to the startling conclusion while conducting research on the human genome . "While cataloguing each of the 30,000 genes on the double-helix-shaped strands of human DNA, we found a tiny segment that didn't 'fit,'" he reveals. "The 'language' of that sequence used an entirely different code. "At first, it appeared that some kind of virus had somehow incorporated itself into human DNA -- but if so, it was like no virus native to Earth . "And what is more curious still is how this sequence is attached to the rest of our DNA -- it has all the chemical earmarks of gene-splicing." Scientists were able to establish that the mysterious genetic "upgrade" is comparatively recent in evolutionary terms -- dating back roughly 4,000 generations, or 1,000 years. "This discovery totally blew our minds," Dr. Sedeaux says. "Now we're placing the gene packet into laboratory monkeys to see exactly what it does. We suspect we'll find a mea surable increase in their intelligence ." UFO experts in Europe have jumped all over the bombshell revelation. "Perhaps the aliens are doing it again now and that explains the rash of abductions and experiments on
