10/9 Environmental Issue Research Paper Proposal The topic I’ve decided to focus on is the overall, broad, topic of Global Warming and it’s connection to false and exaggerated data and claims, misguided and illegitimate information, it’s connection to the shrinking news hole, the cause and effect of the issue as a whole, as well as the overlying simple yet controversial question, is it true or not? While this is a lot to cover, and Global Warming can relate to various other minor issues, I would like to connect it to those other issues throughout my paper, touching on them here and there, while connecting the whole idea, and the excessive, distorted reports, to the shrinking news hole. The news hole is “the amount of space that is available in a newspaper or TV news story relative to other demands for the same space” (Cox, Pg. 144). With the limited news hole, and as mentioned above and even stated as the “shrinking news hole”, the difficulty of getting news out there is getting more and more difficult.

As a current student on this bumpy collegiate pathway, I stumbled upon Course Hero, where I can find study resources for nearly all my courses, get online help from tutors 24/7, and even share my old projects, papers, and lecture notes with other students.

The ability to access any university’s resources through Course Hero proved invaluable in my case. I was behind on Tulane coursework and actually used UCLA’s materials to help me move forward and get everything together on time.
