Assignment 6_06 Webb 2Sui DynastyThe Sui Dynasty was made up of three departments and six ministries systems this was very influential political system to Chinese history. The system used during the Sui Dynasty tookits form after the Western Han Dynasty That was around in 206 BC to 24 AD.The system was officially established through Sui Dynasty, it was later improved in the future dynasty of Tang. The three different departments are known as the Zhongshu Sheng, Menxia Sheng, and ShangshuSheng. The six ministries we Li4 Bu, Hu Bu, Li3 Bu, Bing Bu, Xing Bu, and Gong Bu (Travel China Guide, 1998).The Zhong Sheng would be described as the Imperial Secretariat. The main functions of this department was to transmit the emperor's intention, overseeing confidential files, and issuinggovernment orders. The Menxia Sheng was originally intended organ of the emperor. Along withthe Zhongshu Sheng They oversaw the confidential files of the government, discussed state affairs, checked official orders, and had the right to dispute or ban orders. The Shangshu Sheng isknown as the apartment of State of Affairs. Its major responsibility is to carry out orders that have been written by Zhongshu Sheng, checked by Menxia Sheng, and rejudged by the emperor (Travel China Guide, 1998).The Li4 Bu what we know today as human resources. It was in charge of appointing, discussing, promoting, demoting, selecting, and evaluating state servants.
