Exsc - 205 VARK Questionnaire The VARK questionnaire suggests that I prefer a multimodal (ARK) learning preference. My scores were: visual – 5, aural – 13, read/write – 10, kinesthetic – 11. I agree strongly with these results because I tend to understand a concept well if I feel I am confident about its knowledge. Confidence for me entails trying to grasp at least some parts of various angles that are used to comprehend a subject. These angles of learning can be through the various methods proposed: visual, aural, read/write, and kinesthetic. The main strategies suggested for me would be through aural methods (hearing). That would include attending classes and discussing topics with my peers. The next method is kinesthetic. I feel that is the best method of learning for me. I rarely learn from a professor unless I perform ‘active’ learning in which I actively think about what the teacher is talking about and relating it with previous concepts from that class or even other class.
