Sports Enthusiast - Mr. Nicholas 1. If you could change the brain in one particular way to benefit all athletes, what would this change be? Enhance the cerebellum for better coordination and balance. Tweak the amygdale to enhance aggressiveness. 2. How could you improve the spinal cord to prevent injuries? Put pads around the spinal cord. Insert a carbon graphite fiber protective device. 3. How would you improve the lungs to make an overall better athlete? Genetically cross a bird and a human. Therefore the human would have air sacs like a bird, so they would inhale and exhale oxygen. 4. How could you improve the lungs to help athletes get in shape faster and stay in shape longer? Create a health drink with mitochondria, so the athlete will have more ATP, which creates energy. 5. If you could change the location of the heart to increase blood flow, where would you put it and why? Centralize it more, so more blood will get to the legs faster.
