In our culture, love satisfies the needs of our egos by being recognized as adorable and great. Throughout the humanity culture, the theme of love has been intermittent ever since. Admiration has been an interesting subject for literature becauseof affection, not like all the different topics, has many turns and several endings. PART TWOPhilosophy DisciplineLove has played unavoidable and enormous role on the history of humanity because it has been discussed in historical novels, songs, and films. Philosophically, the theme of love, since the time of the Ancient Greek has been a backbone, producing theories that range from materialistic perception of love to concepts of love as a strongly spiritual affair. The Plato’s symposium gives an influential and adorable notion of love as an animalistic desire or a series of elevations that has surpassed the theological vision of love that transcends mutuality and attraction. Since then, there have been supporters and detractors of Plato’s theories as well as other alternative philosophies including Aristotle secular model of love. Theoretical DisciplineTheoretical approach to love is based on Agape that represents that lover that God has forhumanity. The universal command of “love thy neighbor as thyself employs the logic of reciprocated mutuality of loving your neighbor as yourself. According to God’s command, this law entails loving your enemies and treating them kindly. Ethical Discipline
HUMN 100 FINAL PROJECT 3The ethical concept of love entails the moral appropriateness of loving and the different forms it should follow. As a discipline, it raises several questions such as should ethical minded individuals aim to love everyone equally? Is it ethical to love oneself or an object? The ethical approach aims to exceed the sexual desire in a manner that ethics of sex are fully covered. The theme of love is significant in the various humanity disciplines. It plays an important role in integrating the humanity into one and ensuring its prosperity. This has been clearly clarified in the chosen few disciplines.
