2Truman’s DecisionI believe that President Truman was right in his decision to dropping the atomic bomb on to Hiroshima and Nagasaki. Even though the war ended weeks before the decision was made to drop the atomic bomb, Truman believed that Japan was going to start another war or continue on terrorizing countries and have another example of their ruthless behavior like Pearl Harbor. I believe that President Truman’s thoughts were going full speed in his mind when he came to the decision of dropping that atomic bomb on Hiroshima and Nagasaki. I’m sure that he had Pearl Harbor and the innocent people that were lost during the bombing that Japan made. The fact that this war made an eye opener to a lot of people when Pearl Harbor was bombed and the chaotic events that were in the war with the Nazis, countries at risk of obliteration, and so many people
