The Zachman Framework is used to identify and reflect on the future challenges of enterprise architecture. It is for classifying and organizing design artifacts of an enterprise that is important to its management. The Zachman framework ideas was conceived in 1987 for Enterprise Architecture and Information Systems Architecture. Zachman method is used throughout the world. The Zachman framework applied to enterprises, but the framework is generic. The framework is comprehensive, logical structure for graphic representation of any complex object, and it does not describe any particular method or technique. The framework is use for specific processes for developing the systems of an enterprise with the use of a grid model. The grid model provides a holistic view of the whole model. The framework is also used by senior management and IT experts that work for a large business. To help them analyze the implications of the key business systems and the IT strategies within the enterprise. The framework help to communicate complex concepts with few non- technical words. The Zachman Framework purpose was provides a way of viewing an enterprise and its information systems from different perspectives, and how the components of the enterprise are related.
