Gives rise to the reservation system b. The Reservation System i. Reservation - a set aside area of land reserved for native Americans 1. Like a ghetto c. The Treaty of 1868 i. One of the problems with moving Indians is that once Indians got to the land, America wanted the land again 1. Granted Indians supreme power of their land but was later revoked d.
