Discussion 4 Worksheet: To Kill A Mocking Bird Question 1: Refer to module 19 in your textbook. Describe and explain the social psychological concepts illustrated in this clip? You are required to describe and discuss three different concepts to earn credit. (3 pts.) TYPE YOUR ANSWER HERE. Base your answer on textbook and video information. Do not answer using your personal opinions. 1) The first social psychology concepts I noticed in the video was deindividuation and group size. The crowd outside the town jail gathered and ready for destructive social explosions. They were focused on the situation, with no concern for their actions, disregarding personal values and showing no self-control just to go along with the groups mentality of hurting the prisoner. Jean Louise Finch, A.K.A. “Scout”, showed self-control and strong independence as she bravely spoke up showing no fear of the angry group of men standing in front of her.
