Fortress Learning seeks to enable a collaborative partnership with our learners to complete the
unit requirements. This partnership will involve you the learner, us as the trainers and assessors
and may also include third parties such as supervisors and peers in your workplace.
This unit is primarily delivered and assessed in a self-paced learning environment. The
assessment tasks are designed to be adapted to each individual’s learning context. Learners are
encouraged to communicate with their trainer to determine the most effective way to complete
the assessment tasks.
1. If you are in the workplace you can use your current context to complete the short
answer questions and the assignments.
2. If you are not working or your current work context doesn’t allow you to complete the
assessment tasks then you will need to establish a scenario in which the required tasks
can be completed. Please give your trainer a call on 1300 141 994 so we can work with
you to complete this unit.
3. Learners are encouraged to engage in additional learning activities that might include
further reading, research and reflection. We also recognise that adult learners bring a
range of prior learning experiences and these skills and knowledge may be utilised in
completing the unit requirements.
