Reading assignment: Handout 3 on the shortest path problem. Make sure to put your name on the first page and staple the problems in order. 1. (40 points) A certain university in upstate New York is modernizing its baseball park, Duffhall field. The field must be build in seven months if it is to be ready by the opening day of the next season. The project has four phases, which must be completed in order: Ground Preparation, Turf Installation, Grandstand Construction, and Finishing. On each phase, crews of one of three different sizes can be assigned: either a small crew, a medium-sized crew, or a large crew.
